Please allow Tyler Broeker to skip the first round of picture takings on Thursday, September 2nd. We will gladly have his pictures taken on re-take day, which usually occurs a month later.
Tyler had an unfortunate run-in with a crazy hairdresser who cut his hair much too short. This has caused much distress and heartache this past weekend for both Tyler and his parents. Thus having a picture taken at this time would result in further hardship. My only other option would be having Tyler skip school on Thursday, which we (his parents) think is a bad alternative. Both Tyler and I value his time in school and hope that just “passing” on pictures will work for you and us.
Please let us know if Tyler can skip Life Touch’s pictures tomorrow, so we can plan accordingly.
Thank you!
Amy Broeker
Tyler’s mother
(This just might give you some insight on my hectic life right now.) :)

HA! What a crack up, that is waaaaay too funny!! Don't you just love being a teacher, seriously just when you thought you'd seen it all....
I keep a separate blog called Three days a week for all the funny happenings in the classroom.
Love the letter!
Now I want to see a picture of how bad this haircut really is ;o)
As for pictures, have him take them, buy them, and put them away for oh lets say at least 10 years. Then when some BIG day happens and they need pictures of him growing up, pull out the bad haircut pics. He'll love you for it ;o)
very cute. i thought it was girls who made a big deal about their hair, but i am finding that the middle school boys are very sensitive about it! that picture in the yearbook is a very, very big deal. but tell him tate survived a way bad hair cut (by his mother) and a goofy grin (not my fault in his pix last year. he can even look it up!!
I'd show up late…or pick him up early.
Best of both worlds - not to quote Hannah too much.
Oh but Amy, you HAVE to get his picture taken with the bad haircut. It will provide much hilarity for years to come each time you drag it out for each girlfriend, at his graduation, rehearsal dinner . . .
I agree with Mamma has Spoken! I want to see it too.
It couldn't be all that bad, could it?
